The beginning of the story

The 1.5-kilometer path leading to Thi Lo Su Waterfall offers a serene and refreshing atmosphere, especially in the early morning when the mist lingers gently, and the cool air makes the walk pleasant and not overly tiring. Visitors are reminded that plastic bottles and other waste items are not allowed, as the authorities aim to keep the area clean and preserve its natural beauty. This thoughtful approach helps maintain the pristine environment for all to enjoy. 😊

It's really nice to go hiking.

The path leading to the waterfall is paved, so there’s no need to worry about difficulty. It’s an easy, pleasant walk where you can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding flora along the way. The peaceful stroll allows you to appreciate the vibrant greenery and diverse plant life as you make your way to the stunning Thi Lo Su Waterfall.
But it is recommended to wear non-slip shoes because the waterfall is quite slippery.

It would be great if there was a forest like this near my house.

Throughout the nature exploration route, there are signs recommending various types of plants at intervals, and behind the signs, there are plants of that type growing in abundance.

Does anyone like leaves like this?

This image shows layers of palm leaves, stacked thickly, conveying the rich, dense nature of the surrounding forest. Palm species like these are commonly found in such areas, and personally, I love encountering them. When I capture them in photos, it gives me the feeling of being deep in a lush, untouched jungle. The dense, layered leaves bring a sense of mystery and immersion in nature, making every photo taken in such places feel like a piece of the wilderness itself.

I'd like to bring someone to sit here.

Walk about halfway and you will find a small waterfall stream. It is a place to stop and take pictures or go swimming. It is another place that is just as beautiful as the waterfall inside.

มันคงมีความสุขมากแน่ๆ

At the next spot, as you continue walking down, you’ll encounter another highlight: the exposed tree roots. If you come here and miss seeing these roots emerging above the soil, it would be a shame. These unique and oddly shaped roots are found almost everywhere around here, adding a distinctive and fascinating beauty to the landscape. They create a sense of mystery and wonder, offering an entirely different, surreal perspective of the forest.

The capital has never been so happy before.

After a short walk, you’ll finally arrive at the view point of Thi Lo Su Waterfall. This spot offers an incredible panoramic view of the waterfall, from the lower to the upper tiers. It’s a popular spot where anyone who reaches it can’t resist pulling out their camera to capture the breathtaking scene. The sheer beauty of the cascading water and the surrounding lush nature makes it an unforgettable sight to photograph.
From this viewpoint, you can see the second tier of the waterfall, which is another popular spot for swimming. The pool here is wide and not too deep, making it perfect for both children and adults to enjoy. It’s a great place to cool off and have fun in the water. Plus, there are two inflatable tubes available for guests to use, making it even more enjoyable for everyone!

Nature is true happiness.

If you walk a little further upstream, you’ll reach the final tier of the waterfall, which is the tallest and most stunning of all the levels. This is a must-see spot when visiting Ti Lo Su. Although the hike to this level may be a bit challenging, it’s definitely worth the effort. The view from here is absolutely breathtaking, and the photo opportunities are just as incredible as waterfalls in foreign countries. It’s a rewarding experience for those who make the trek!

Let's go back and rest. Goodbye, Thi Lor Su.

On the way back to the accommodation, I stopped to take a photo of the crystal-clear stream flowing from the waterfall, captured from a high vantage point. The U-shaped curve of the stream, with the light from the setting sun casting a warm glow, created a scene I don’t often get to see. Since it was the last day of my trip, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to capture this beautiful moment. It felt like the perfect way to end the experience!

After a restful sleep, the sound of the alarm at 5 AM signaled that it was time to witness something extraordinary: elephants emerging under the galaxy sky. The Milky Way was visible, but only for a brief moment, just after the moon dipped below the horizon and before the sun began to rise. This was the moment everyone had been waiting for, and it was the final shot I had planned to capture before heading back. The night before had been rainy, with the sky overcast, making it impossible to photograph the scene. So, this was a special and much-awaited opportunity!

Friendship at night
